I have been using Flickr and Creative Commons licensed pictures with my students for a while now. The challenge for them is when they are unable to find images (in particular) that don't suit their needs but they can readily find images (usually using Google images) that are perfect for what they are trying to create.
Unfortunately most people feel anything on the internet is for public use and let's face it when the bottom line for many of our students and their teachers is MARKS why wouldn't they use the "better" copyrighted image?
